Why do I need an X-Cite® Optical Power Measurement System?

X-Cite® Optical Power Measurement System

Most experiments need to be repeated at least 3 times for data accuracy and statistical significance. Whether you are using a lamp system, LED or laser source, measuring the illumination power is a critical step in ensuring consistent conditions, and thus accuracy, for each experiment. This is best achieved by measuring the power emitted from the objective - where your sample resides.

Multi-user facility operators may also use the X-Cite® Optical Power Measurement System to set-up and calibrate illumination sources to monitor their lifespans, and also to diagnose optical alignment issues of their lamps, LEDs or lasers. With a PC interface and "Power Snapshot" tool, data can be easily stored electronically for complete experiment records.
